The SKRing was formed in October of 1996, with the hopes of joining those fans pages containing information about Stephen King, his works, and his movies together. The first criteria for becoming part of the Stephen King WebRing is You must have a webpage devoted to Stephen King! If your page does not meet this criterea. Do not bother to follow the following steps.

Here are the steps that need to be followed to join the Stephen King WebRing. Please follow them closely to preserve the integrity of the ring!

Save a copy of the two SKRing graphics you see below. DO NOT reference them off someone else's server unless you've asked them for permission first! I called the one on the left skring.gif and the one on the right sknext.gif.
Add the HTML fragments that you will receive via EMail directly to your Stephen King Page only. Other Styles available here. The HTML fragment MUST be on the same page as your Stephen King information. Do Not make a user of the ring have to search for your Stephen King information, or search for the next site in the ring.

E-mail the Ringmaster of the Stephen King WebRing and ask to be added to the ring. Be sure to include your Site ID Number. Your page will be looked at to make sure it is worthy of addition and make sure the Stephen King WebRing HTML fragment on your page is okay. This process is best accomplished if you set up some sort of talk/Powwow/IRC date or something because it will minimize the amount of time that your page contains the Stephen King WebRing information but doesn't function.
After checking out your page, the Ringmaster of the Stephen King WebRing will take your Site ID Number and use it to add you to the ring. You should receive an e-mail you telling you that your site has been added.
That's it! You should now be able to navigate the entire ring until you make it back to your own page, although it may take a while.
